Category-winner wine: Juliet Victor Tokaji Aszú 6 Puttonyos 2017
The first ever aszú wine of Juliet Victor. A furmint-based wine complemented with hárslevelű and a touch of sárgamuskotály. The grapes come from several vineyards and are aged in barrels for 18 months. The Juliet Victor Tokaji Aszú 6 Puttonyos 2017 is a complex, spicy wine displaying intensive notes of orange and apricot. In spite of the heavy content, this wine with a perfect balance of acids and sugar slips down the throat easily. It won the Platinum Award of the 2021 Decanter World Wine Awards international wine competition.
